Home Minister's Commitment to Support Martyr Kayastha's Family

Kathmandu: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has pledged to provide necessary facilities to the family of martyr Mukesh Kayastha on behalf of the state. This commitment was made during a meeting with Mukesh's mother, Mira Kayastha, at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday.
Mukesh Kayastha, who was recognized as the 'living martyr' of the Second Jana Andolan (2062-63), passed away on Baisakh 27, 2080. Following his death, the government officially declared Mukesh a martyr.
Minister Lekhak assured Mira Kayastha that the state would extend all possible support and facilities to honor Mukesh's sacrifice and to support his family.
